Point Zero is a game in which you play in our world, but hundreds of years in the future. It's up to the player to help people on the island stop plastic pollution. Their end-goal is to go to "Point Zero", the point where everything went wrong. The player has an impact on the environment of the game, this is usually done through a dialogue choice, paired with a puzzle.

Contribution

During this project, I was in charge of the programming, technical art & lighting. Most of my time was spent creating the water shader for the ocean, putting the world together, creating a dialogue system with choices and an event-system to keep track of what the player was doing, and applying befitting consequences.

Asides from this, I was greatly involved in the design phases of the project. This includes storytelling & game-design. But also concepting, researching, testing with the target audience.
